The design for assembly building in the new capital Amravati has been decided. Tower design has been finalized for the assembly as it got maximum votes in the poll conducted by CRDA. Norman Foster’s UK-based architectural company has submitted two designs during the cabinet meeting. One of which was the erection of tower atop the assembly complex. The same has been voted in the social media by public.
Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu said that the government would go with the tower design as many people have voted for it on social media. With this progress in work CM has asked APCRDA to chalk out plans for the foundation and subsequent works at the earliest.
The long time taken for finalizing the design is because CM is keeping his fingers crossed to make Amravati as one of the best capitals in the world.
According to reports the assembly complex will include a museum as well and occupy almost 17lakh square feet.
The capital would be in relevant to seek inspiration for a twenty first century and would be an example of perfect modern capital city.
