Seems that BJP led central government is finally viewing the consequences that may arise if they do not fulfil the promises made to Andhra Pradesh.
The BJP party is making all its efforts to reason with its ally TDP on its demands about Andhra Pradesh and PM Modi is gathering every detail about the developments.
PM has given orders to BJP president Amit Shah and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to mollify Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu who is not satisfied with the assurances.
Modi has even promised TDP leaders that he will get in touch with Naidu to sort out the issues, according to the sources. The two BJP leaders are likely to meet with TDP leaders for discussions this week before PM speaks to Naidu.
Modi is likely to speak to Naidu after he returns from the four-nation tour. Modi has asked Shah and Jaitley to mediate. The FM gave some assurances in his reply to the budget debate in both the Houses, but this hasn’t satisfied TDP.
If the Central government is going to fulfil the promises made ten there would be no more fuss over the issue, but if it again tries to satisfy the TDP party in the state the party winning in the coming elections would become cloud-castle.
TDP is bargaining hard and protesting aggressively to get more funds for building the new Andhra capital in Amravati, the Polavaram project and a new railway zone at Vishakhapatnam.
