The wait was over as the Telugu Desam Parliamentary Party meeting at party chiefs residence concluded here on Sunday. (“Mounting pressure on centre is the aim for now – Chandrababu Naidu”)
The party for now decided to mount pressure on the centre in a phased manner to get the state’s grievance of no proper allocations in the Union Budget announced.
Union Minister of State for Science and Technology Sujana Chowdary said that the party would not snap ties with BJP; instead the TDP MPs would raise the issue in the parliament.
Chief Minister has issued some guidelines to the party people on the way of drawing centres attention on the problems faced by the state.
The party in the state is hoping that the centre would resolve the issues in three to four days ahead, if not a further course of action would be chalked out depending on the response from the centre.
The state wants the centre to implement the promises made during the A.P. Reorganisation Act and the assurances given by the then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh when the Reorganization Bill was passed.
It is now confirmed that the TDP party is not interested to part away with the alliance with BJP in the near future, but instead searching a way to please the people of the state by putting pressure on the centre.
